Bondi farmers markets are pretty awesome. Naoks and I decided to hit them this morning after our surf. We grabbed a whole bunch of yummy crunchy vege, fresh bread and some delish duck pate. We stocked up on goodness and then had a little picnic on her balcony with the lorikeets. Pretty nice day for winter!

Sunny Spot

My sister, JJ, asked if I wanted to come to help her and Zoe plant some herbs! She found the perfect little spot that gets lots of afternoon sun. I miss having a backyard full of fresh homegrown produce. Living in an apartment gets me down sometimes, but I really cant complain living 30seconds from the crashing waves of Bondi beach. 

Zoe was on water-can duty. She managed to water everything but the plants.

Pretty sure they will be happy in their new home.

Perfect day for a fish

I caught 13 tailor today!

Jeff and I had no idea what we were doing. Luckily we had Brad, a pro fisherman, on board to tell us
what to do. Our day started at the Coolangatta bait shop, then straight into the Tweed River, where all the fish were waiting. We ended up with over 20 fish which we gutted, cleaned and cooked up for dinner. Cant get any better! Was an amazing experience and I plan to keep up my newly learned fishing skills back in Sydney.

Get together

Had a family get together today on the Gold Coast. We set up in a little park, cooked a delicious BBQ, played frisbee, had bike races, climbed trees, popped balloons, gave piggy back rides... and basically just had a heap of fun! Was great to see everyone and hang out with all the kids. It always shocks me at how quickly they grow....

If you live in Bondi and you get your hair cut on a regular basis, I suggest you head to Judena Taylor Salon! The girls down there are fantastic and it is gorgeously positioned just across from the beach, so you can enjoy the view while you're being pampered. Last night I did a little photo shoot of the girls for their website and blog.

Sleep Over

My niece, Zoe (a.k.a. zo-lo, chomp, chompa wompa) had her first sleep over with Jeff and I last night. I'm 100% sure that she is the most amazing thing to ever have walked on this earth!

She is quite the early chomp - Hello 5:30am! We all snuggled in bed together till 6am before bottle and porridge, it was awesome! I think that was the highlight of the whole event...although the bubble bath was pretty awesome too. Bring on sleep over #2!

Look at this handsome looking chap! My favorite animal would have to be the goat...They're just so friendly and cute! This guy lives in Pimpama, QLD on a strawberry farm. I like his goatee...
